One question people often have about whitening is, “Does it harm my teeth?” And the answer is that it is safe and does not harm the enamel. Tooth sensitivity can occur while bleaching, but this is reversible and if you develop sensitivity, you can simply stop bleaching and the sensitivity will diminish. For people that have tooth sensitivity before starting to bleach their teeth this can be a concern. For people with sensitivity problems, we have several different concentrations of the bleaching agent as well as desensitizing solutions that can help.
